Chris Brown Seemingly Responds to Rihanna's Super Bowl Show, Baby News

The R&B crooner penned what fans took to be an indirect note to the superstar.

From the looks of it, Chris Brown didn't want to miss out on the opportunity to wish Rihanna well after her big night.

Immediately following the 2023 Super Bowl halftime show, where the "Umbrella" songstress broke the internet with her first live performance in several years—not to mention shocked the world by unveiling a growing baby bump—the "New Flame" artist took to social media with a congratulatory note.

"GO GIRL," Brown, 33, simply wrote on an Instagram Story in white text alongside red heart and praying hands emojis.

Though aimed at no one in particular, several fans who know his history with the "Diamonds" hitmaker took the message to be meant as a discreet public sentiment towards the Bajan superstar, 34, given the circumstances.

It seemed as though he didn't want to overstep or cross any boundaries by not mentioning her or adding anything further to the note, yet still hoped she'd see it and know he was happy for her and her major life accomplishments.

The "Birthday Cake Remix" collaborators first met during their teenage years as up-and-coming talents in the music industry. The two have since gone on to lead separate lives in the spotlight, both gaining immense success and accolades along the way.

While Rihanna is a new mom, giving birth to her first baby in May 2022, Brown became a dad in 2014, and has now fathered three children of his own: Royalty, 8, Aeko, 3, and Lovely, 1.
