Chocolate Funfetti Cake Mix Exists And Birthdays Just Got WAY Better

I am of the firm belief that if you have the same favorite cake/frosting combo as someone else, it's truly meant to be. Now, this theory is immediately blown to bits because I prefer white icing on white cake and my boyfriend loves chocolate cake with white icing. BUT, luckily for us we both love Funfetti, and now Pillsbury has released a new kind of cake mix that will keep us both happy.

Instagrammer @foodiewiththebeasts spotted this Chocolate Funfetti Cake Mix at their local grocery store and we've never seen something so beautiful. We've previously spotted the Funfetti chocolate brownie mix but never chocolate cake and cupcake mix so even if you have, let us have this one, OK??? The cake and cupcake mix looks just like your classic sprinkle-filled Funfetti cake mix but with a chocolate base rather than vanilla. The Pillsbury baking website calls it a "yummy pop of color and chocolate deliciousness to brighten up your celebration!"

Of course you can also get Funfetti chocolate icing to complete your cake or cupcakes or mix it with one of the other Funfetti icings like marshmallow, Hot Pink vanilla, new Space Blue Vanilla. The world is your oyster! Foodiewiththebeasts found this at their local ACME so that might be a good place to start if you're in a baking mood. We couldn't find this one to buy online yet but it's already listed on the Pillsbury Baking website, where you can search and find it at a retailer near you!
