Chloe x Halle’s Vocals Were on Another Level During Their Must-See BET Awards Performance

Chloe x Halle blessed the 20th Annual BET Awards with a performance of their new single “Do It” and a rendition of “Forgive Me,” and it was best described as sheer perfection.

In case you somehow forgot how their vocals are consistently on another level, they were here to remind you with that number. “Do It” is off the sisters’ new album Ungodly Hour and is all about good vibes. Halle recently told MTV, “I just want people to take away good vibes and healing. At the end of the day, that’s what music is about. It’s about lifting spirits and making somebody feel good.”

Meanwhile, there are tons of hidden meanings behind the song’s lyrics, which Chloe x Halle have explained in detail right this way. But when it comes to the hook, Halle says they were “envisioning us on the dance floor with our girls like that’s just how we do it, that’s just how you do it. That’s just how you do that. And you’re doing it well. Like, that’s all that was in our head.”
