How Chloe x Halle Got Ready for the 2021 Grammy Awards

“While I was getting my makeup done, I was so anxious about the awards. However, facetiming with Halle and taking a nap during the glam process definitely made me feel more at ease and happy.”

“I got to wear the most beautiful Tiffany&Co jewelry over these sheer gloves. I felt so modern, edgy, and classic all at the same time.”

“You know I love a good latex moment!! For a lot of the performances and press shoots for our album Ungodly Hour, latex was definitely a staple within the fashion. So in celebration of the album being nominated for three Grammys, it felt only right bringing a piece of that edginess into this look. At this moment, lube was getting applied to the latex stocking so that it could be all shiny in the sun.”

“I was absolutely OBSESSED with my hair and makeup! It’s so much fun experimenting with my locs and finding new ways to style them. Tinisha Meeks, my hair stylist, killed it with the baby hairs and braids while Christina Cassell, my makeup artist, gave me a nice cat eye with beautiful gold highlights. I felt like a princess. This has to be one of my favorite glam moments.”

“Louis Vuitton and Nicolas Ghesquiere made such a beautiful dress. It complimented my shape so well. The detailing of the dress was so intricate and it really made me shine, especially in the sun. The dress was 15 pounds on the hanger but when it was on my body, I couldn’t even tell and it fit like a glove.”

“I had to take it back to the tennis court to capture these photos with the amazing photographers Jahmad Balugo and Julian Dakdouk! Halle and I did so many shoots and performances here during the quarantine. This tennis court has been very good to us, haha.”

My London hairstylist Tiffanne Williams laid down my baby hairs with our favorite plant based edge gel. I absolutely loved the long headscarf that Louis Vuitton made to match the dress. Tiffanne styled it perfectly."
