Chloe Sevigny Called J.Law Crass & Then Put a Lobster on her Naked Lady Parts

Earlier this week V Magazine released an interview with fashion icon and actress Chloe Sevigny. Sevigny, who’s starred in Kids, Big Love, and The Mindy Project, and has a collection at Opening Ceremony, dissed America’s Sweetheart: “I love when a movie star is a great movie star. I think Angelina is a great movie star. I like Emma Stone. Whenever she’s herself, she’s really cute. Jennifer Lawrence I find annoying. Too crass.”

And sure, everyone’s entitled to their opinion. You want to hate on the world’s favorite movie star? Go for it. But crass? No. As if to hammer home that Sevigny has no understanding of the word, she’s posed with a lobster on and around her vagina. She wears a Proenza Schouler coat and shoes in this editorial from Marfa Journal, but good luck noticing anything other than the crustacean. “Chloe Sevigny in Sizzler Explosive!” reads the title of the shoot, which also features her bare bottom on a motor cycle. Lest you miss the point, the magazine adds the word “progressive” in the top left corner.

It’s not like wearing a lobster in place of panties is even that crass for Sevigny, whose unsimulated sex scene with with Vincent Gallo in 2003′s The Brown Bunny made international headlines. Sevigny’s always seamless straddled the line between fashion, art, and Hollywood, a chic role model for the smart girls growing up in her wake with varied interests and quirky taste. Sevigny should wear whatever she wants below the waist (and above it!) but she should play nice with the other role models.
