Actress Chloë Grace Moretz has never been one to shy away from keeping it real. Whether she’s making a political statement or voicing her thoughts on Kim Kardashian’s perfume, the 21-year-old doesn’t hold back — and the same is true of her high-low makeup routine. In a recent interview with Byrdie, Moretz admits she likes to shop for affordable drugstore makeup, but there’s one item that she just has to splurge on.

She explains that she “can’t be bothered” with an extensive makeup routine these days, but on occasion, she gets the urge to “do it up.” When she’s in the mood to primp, Moretz reaches for the “different color L’Oréal palettes from CVS” and one pricey concealer. “The only expensive thing I use is like the Clé de Peau cover stick.”
