Chlöe and Halle Gave Us Absolute Life on the Met Gala Red Carpet

Chlöe and Halle Bailey have been booked and busy! On Friday, Chlöe released her solo debut single and absolute banger “Have Mercy” and then turned riiight around and performed the smash on Sunday night at the VMAs—her first big show by herself, no less. NBD, just icon-in-the-making things. And as for her younger sister Halle, well, she’s just out here being a whole entire Disney Princess and whatnot. At the end of July, she returned from filming a movie called The Little Mermaid, ever heard of it? She plays Ariel, in case you’ve been on another planet and totally missed it. Again, NBD, just light work for two ~real ones~.

But alllll that didn’t stop the sisters from walking on their very *first* Met Gala red carpet tonight. The ladies absolutely served on the VMAs red carpet together last night and took their fashion game to new levels tonight. Just have a look-see:

Chlöe dazzled in a white gown with a high slit, impeccable sleeves, and massive train, while Halle stunned in a pink Tina Turner–inspired bodysuit with a plunging V-neckline and lots of fringe details. Both of the looks were giving everything they were supposed to give! But all the couture didn’t stop Halle from helping her big sis in this adorable moment:
