We've never seen her with short hair.

One scroll through Chlöe Bailey's Instagram account, and you can see she is one of Hollywood's greatest hair chameleons. She's had locs and curls, gone blonde and red, has tied her hair up, left it down, and styled it in just about any way possible—always pairing every look with envy-worthy manicures and gorgeous ensembles. So, we were by no means surprised she continued her streak at her latest appearance, but we were surprised by her bold new hair choice.

On December 4, Bailey performed a Dionne Warwick tribute at The Kennedy Center Honors—a night celebrating artists for their lifetime achievements. To pay tribute to the world-renowned actress and singer, Bailey sang Warwick's song "Walk on By," making the tribute even more special by transforming her hair into the star's iconic haircut from the '60s. She debuted the look live in front of Warwick, the night's other honorees, and President Joe Biden.

The new look is quite the switch-up for Bailey. When you think of her, you probably imagine her long, near-waist-length hair that is usually styled in locs. However, her new hair was likely her shortest yet, traveling barely to the small of her neck in a pin-straight style.

Bailey's bixie—that would be a cross between a bob and a pixie—was ultra fluffy and bounced as she performed. She parted it down the middle, letting the dark brown strands frame her face. The side-framing strands slowly got longer as they got closer to her ear, though never reaching all the way to her jawline. All together, it looks just like the hair Warwick wore in the '60s, just updated to 2023.

Bailey paired her new hair with the ultimate princess dress. She wore a billowing baby pink gown with a boned, corseted top half that, at her waist, exploded into layers of cascading pink satin folding over itself in waves. She paired the regal garment with a thick diamond necklace and matching diamond earrings.

Her makeup finished off the look. In typical Chlöe fashion, her face was absolutely stamped. Her skin was perfectly matte and almost looked airbrush. She had bright under eyes, contoured cheeks, and rosy pink blush. Her lips were lined with a deep brown and filled with a glossy, lighter walnut brown shade. Her eyes finished off the glam—a warmed-toned smoky eye with long, fluttering lashes. The last part of her look was her opulent mismatched gold nails ranging from chrome to gold foil and sparkles.
