Chips Ahoy! Brownies Exist And They’ve Got A Chocolate Layer Through The Center
Diving into a pre-packaged brownie can be a little risky. They’re rarely as good as enjoying a freshly baked option, and you never quite know what you’re getting into...that is, unless you're dealing with experts like Chips Ahoy! The brand is here with a delicious brownie that’ll make even lifelong brownie snobs rethink their stance on the pre-made stuff.
It’s called Brownie Chocolate Intenso, and apparently it’s hitting shelves in Spain. Instagram account @JunkFoodOnTheGo recently got their hands on it, and it sounds pretty incredible.
“My brother visited Spain on a recent trip and brought these brownies back for me. I wasn’t expecting too much because packaged brownies just usually don’t stand a chance to freshly baked ones,” they wrote. “These actually kinda surprised me though. The chocolate flavor really shines through. There’s mini chocolate chips throughout and also a chocolate layer in the center.”
Overall, @JunkFoodOnTheGo said the brownies have “really good flavor” but, of course, they’re “a bit dry/crumbly.” (To be fair, it’s kind of impossible not to have that with pre-packaged brownies.)

People in the comments were understandably jealous. “Looks yummy. Why is it that other countries always have the good stuff?” one person wrote. “Those look pretty fire,” another said.
Someone else said in the comments that they’ve also tried the brownies, adding, “they’re actually pretty f*cken good.”
Unfortunately, these aren’t available in the U.S. right now. They’re not even on Amazon—I checked. Still, you can drown your sorrows in Chips Ahoy! Middles, which also have a chocolate layer in the center. It's not a perfect solution, but it's a pretty delicious second choice.
