Chipotle fans are obsessed with this TikToker’s money-saving menu hacks: ‘The greatest Chipotle hack of all time’
A South Carolina is going viral for her extremely cheap Chipotle hacks, and TikTok is singing her praises.
TikTok is full of Chipotle “hacks,” like the user who shared how to maximize a burrito bowl order and another who suggested hacking a kids’ meal for $5 to transform it into a full adult serving.
Amelia Mccall (@mothersewsbest), who normally posts free sewing resources aimed at teaching moms how to sew, joined the wave of Chipotle TikTok hackers by showing off her own twist.
In the first hack, Mccall ordered a burrito bowl with half chicken and half steak, half white rice and half brown rice, half pinto beans and half black beans and “all the toppings you can stuff in there.”
The key, according to Mccall, is to order the main parts in halves. She has found that when you order half of each topping, the workers always tend to give you more than if you just ordered one variety.
Then, you order two tortillas on the side — Mccall was charged 50 cents per tortilla — and use the burrito bowl to fill each tortilla yourself. She even hacked the container by using the lid as her own personal burrito fill-and-roll station.
This wasn’t Mccall’s only Chipotle hack to go viral. In another video, which gained over 7 million views, Mccall explains how she orders her “absolute favorite, cheapest lunch ever.”
In the video, Mccall explains that she orders a kids’ cheese quesadilla with rice, beans and meat (half chicken, half steak) as her sides.
After finishing the quesadilla, she then mixes the sides up in the main compartment, then adds in some additional sides of corn salsa and pico de gallo. Since the kids’ meal comes with a bag of chips, she uses them to scoop the mixture up.
The total for the whole meal comes to only $4.95 — and Mccall ended up having leftovers to spare.
TikTokers applauded Mccall for her money-saving Chipotle innovations.
