Chip and Joanna Gaines give fans a glimpse into their marriage and family life on HGTV's Fixer Upper. And it looks like their family traditions are as sweet and loving as they seem. Joanna recently revealed that every Valentine's Day, the two of them sit down to a candlelit dinner-with their kids.

In an interview with Traditional Home, Joanna said that she and Chip make an effort to have a date night once a week. But when it comes to big holidays like Valentine's Day, they don't get any alone time-and that's on purpose.

Joanna said she and Chip bring the kids along for a Valentine's Day dinner at home. "We set the table fancy, we all get dressed up, and we serve a big, beautiful candlelight dinner," she said. "It's our kids' favorite too."

And naturally, Chip brings his signature sense of humor to the festivities. "I'll never forget one year we served lobster, and Chip chased all the kids around the house with a lobster," she said. "It was hilarious!"

It's clear that family comes first for Chip and Jo. And until next Valentine's Day, the couple is focused on their kids' loose teeth-and welcoming a new baby goat to the family.
