Chip and Joanna Gaines have revealed the first look at their new spin-off series, Fixer Upper: The Hotel, in a short teaser trailer released Friday morning.

The Texas-based property flippers are taking on what Chip calls “the largest, most complicated project we’ve done in our whole career.” They're taking a rundown, abandoned building in their beloved downtown Waco and renovating it into a pristine boutique establishment, to be called Hotel 1928. The finished product will boast 33 guest rooms, two restaurants, and a library over three floors, plus a rooftop terrace.

Though the property is listed on the National Registry and rests across a luxurious 53,000 square feet, those are the only glamorous things about it. The trailer shows the couple dealing with noisy construction work, a general lack of infrastructure, and time-consuming demolition in the hopes of achieving their desired result.

“If anyone can turn this masterpiece into what it deserves to be, it’s Joanna Gaines,” Chip says in the trailer.

The Hotel is a spin-off of Gaines' popular HGTV series Fixer Upper. They’ve also hosted the shows Fixer Upper: Welcome Home, and Magnolia Table. All of the shows air on the Gaines-owned Magnolia Network.

Fixer Upper: The Hotel premieres on Magnolia Network on Wednesday, November 8, at 9 PM, with new shows each week. Episodes will also be available to stream same-day on HBO Max and Discovery Plus.
