Chip and Joanna Gaines' Magnolia TV Network Will Air a Show About the Dreamiest Flower Farm

Our countdown to the launch of Chip and Joanna Gaines' Magnolia Network this October just got more exciting. Yesterday, the TV channel—a joint venture between Chip and Joanna Gaines and Discovery, Inc.—revealed the newest original series for the network will be Growing Floret. According to a press release, the series will center on Floret Flower Farm, a flourishing organic flower farm in Mount Vernon, Washington, as founder Erin Benzakein and her team take on reviving chemically damaged and over-farmed land with only one year to make the transformation happen.

"One of the biggest motivators for building this network was a desire to tell the stories of brave people who are chasing big dreams," said Joanna Gaines in the same media statement. "Ever since discovering the incredible team behind Growing Floret, I have been endlessly inspired by the grit, hard work, and beauty that they're putting into the world. We are so excited to tell more of their story as they take the courageous steps to expand their flower farm and grow their business.”

With Washington's picturesque Skagit Valley serving as the show's backdrop, we're excited to get to watch Benzakein and her team busy on the ground. “For nearly 15 years, we have been hard at work raising our family, growing beautiful flowers, and building a farm,” Benzakein, who relocated her family from Seattle to Skagit Valley over a decade ago, said in the press release. “Along this journey, we have openly shared the highs and lows and all that we have learned in the hopes that it will inspire others to follow their dreams and live a more meaningful life. It is such a tremendous honor to join Chip and Joanna’s new network and have the story of our family and our farm told in such a heartfelt, authentic way.”
