Last Friday, Hurricane Harvey made landfall as a Category 4 storm just outside of Corpus Christi, Texas. In the days since it has been downgraded to a tropical storm, but has continued to wreak havoc on the state, causing catastrophic flooding in Houston and displacing up to 30,000 people from their homes.

Many of those people evacuated to Waco, Texas, the hometown of Chip and Joanna Gaines, and the Fixer Upper stars are doing their part to help with relief efforts in their beloved state of Texas.

From now until the end of September, they are donating 100 percent of the proceeds from their "Texas Forever" T-shirt towards Hurricane Harvey relief efforts.

"It's just a start," they said in a newsletter that went out with the announcement. "Every dollar and every endeavor provide real and needed help to the victims of this disaster."

Here's the rest of their message they sent out with the announcement of the fundraiser.

Texas - we will always have your back. Prayer is our first instinct in times like this and it has moved us to act. We're raising funds, donating and looking for practical ways to help. Everyone, everywhere - please jump in and join us in making real and ongoing efforts to support these beautiful towns.
