Chip and Joanna Gaines already have a family of seven, but adding another baby isn't out of the question — according to Chip.

During a new interview airing on "Sunday Today," the couple admitted they're not quite on the same page about the possibility of Baby No. 6. It's been a year and a half since they welcomed their youngest, Crew, and his dad is gunning for his wife to have another: "I could see Crew having a little sibling and me being like, ‘I love this woman,'" Chip, 44, said.

In response, Joanna, 41, rolled her eyes. "When I'm 50, Chip's going to want more kids," she told anchor Willie Geist. "Just know, this is going to be the headline forever: 'Jo's pregnant again.'"

She added, "Chip with children is like business — there’s never too many. I’m like, ‘Chip I think we’ve got enough, I think we’re good!’ That’s how Chip is with children. He’s like, ‘I just think we can keep having them!'"

Back in 2017, just months before the couple announced their most recent pregnancy, they acknowledged that same dynamic during a chat with ABC News. In discussing what they'd do with their free time after exiting HGTV, Chip mused, "I'm really excited to go back and maybe ... try to make some more babies."

Joanna then countered that she and her husband had "different answers" in regards to pregnancy plans.

After exiting HGTV, the Gaines clan began developing their own Magnolia Network, which will feature family-friendly programming across a variety of genres. It will officially launch in summer 2020.

Chip and Jo wed in 2003, and their five children range in age from 16 months to 16 years old.
