How Chip & Joanna Are Celebrating 10 Years of 'Fixer Upper'

It's been 10 years since Chip and Joanna Gaines demo-ed their way into the hearts of fans. To mark the 10th anniversary of Fixer Upper’s premiere on HGTV, the Magnolia co-founders are taking on a new renovation project in an all-new series titled Fixer Upper: The Lakehouse.

"When Fixer Upper premiered 10 years ago, we couldn’t have imagined the journey we had ahead of us," Chip and Joanna said in a statement. "Though a lot has changed and evolved in the decade between then and now, our love for home is still at the heart of everything we do."

The couple added, "We feel honored that we get to continue pouring into the stories of these homes across Waco, and we’re excited to share our latest project with you this summer with Fixer Upper: The Lakehouse."

The Gaineses' new show, produced by their production company Blind Nil, will debut on June 2, 2024.

Fixer Upper: The Lakehouse will air on Magnolia Network and HGTV, the channel where the original Fixer Upper premiered in 2014. The new series will also be available to stream on Max and discovery+.

How many episodes of Fixer Upper: The Lakehouse will there be?

Fans of the home renovation duo can look forward to six episodes with two episodes being released weekly.

Is there a trailer for Fixer Upper: The Lakehouse?

A teaser trailer debuted on March 5 showing Joanna looking for her husband at the site of their new project. "I hope he's not messing with me," she said before finding Chip floating out back in the lake. Alongside the teaser on Instagram, Magnolia Network wrote, "Only the lake could pull Chip away from #DemoDay!"

What will happen in Fixer Upper: The Lakehouse?

The series will follow the power couple as they flip a "unique mid-century modern lakehouse" near Lake Waco. Magnolia Network has teased: "From demo to design, viewers will follow the full transformation of the property throughout the season as Chip and Joanna go above and beyond with surprising interior designs and unique outdoor installations never before seen on Fixer Upper."
