How to Chill Drinks in 10 Minutes

You know the drill. You meant to chill that bottle of rosé hours ago or put the cans of sparkling water in the fridge last night. But then, 1:00 pm comes, the doorbell rings, and in trickle the guests. Now what? Guess you'll be serving that bottle of seltzer straight from your paper grocery bag or rosé à la lukewarm.

Turns out, there's a simple, effective way to cool your drinks. According to The Kitchn, just grab some paper towels and head toward the freezer. "If you’re trying to cool down bottles of soda, seltzer, beer, or wine, wrap them individually in damp paper towels and place them in the freezer for 10 to 15 minutes, depending on the size of the bottle," writes Sheela Prakash. "The moisture in the paper towel will quickly evaporate and freeze to cool the liquid in the bottle faster than the air in the freezer."
