After spending almost half a century playing Erica Kane on All My Children, Susan Lucci has developed quite a longterm following from her dedicated fans. While she isn't portraying a villain anymore on TV (the hit soap opera was canceled on ABC in 2011), she's still able to shock people — but for a much different reason.
On July 24, the Emmy Award-winning actress posted a video to Instagram detailing how she's been keeping herself busy this summer. Wearing a floppy hat, white dress and wedged heels, the actress looked to be enjoying herself while driving a golf cart around her local course.
"🎼 'On the Road Again…'👍👍👍," she captioned the short clip, potentially referencing Willie Nelson's hit song. "Happy Sunday!"
We love seeing Susan looking so relaxed these days! Even though she didn't tag any designer for her outfit in the caption (much to our disappointment), we're definitely curious to know where the Hot in Cleveland guest star is currently buying her chic summer wardrobe.
Longtime All My Children fans were on the same wavelength when they saw Susan's latest Instagram post. After quickly taking to her Instagram comments section, many were mentioned how stylish she appeared while driving around in the summer heat.
"A much different ride than mine! 🚗 [yours] looks way more fun! 🎉🎉 happy Sunday!!🙏🏻🙏🏻," one person wrote. "Most stylish golf cart driver I have ever seen on the course 😊⛳️," another one complimented. "Only you could look that glamorous driving a golf cart!!! Beautiful!" a different fan said.
Despite Susan not being a permanent staple on our TV's as of late, it's always nice to know she's doing well post-All My Children. Who knows, maybe we'll get to see Erica Kane again in the future. Back in February, she told People that there's been some progress on the All My Children spin-off, Pine Valley.
"There has been movement," she told the outlet. "I wish it was a quicker movement, but yes, everything in terms of being in the right hands, as far as I know, would be in place."
