Taylor Swift celebrates with fans during the AFC Wild Card Playoffs between the Miami Dolphins and the Kansas City Chiefs

Kansas City Chiefs linebacker Drue Tranquill is the latest to offer his opinion on Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift's romance, and he's got a strong outlook on the impact the viral relationship has had on the game of football.

In a new interview with CBS Sports Radio's Zach Gelb, the footballer was more than happy to share the ways the team ribs on the tight end these days, largely enjoying a harmless joke at his expense whenever their team DJ throws one of the superstar's hits onto the practice playlist, but it's all brotherly love amongst them, because Tranquill—and, assumedly, the rest of the team—recognize the positive impact Swift's presence at their games has had not only on their team, but the entire league.

"It's been fun, man," he told the radio host, calling the phenomenon brought on by the relationship "something to celebrate." He continued, "It brings a lot of energy and a lot of fun to our fans, so that's good for business, good for football, and good for the NFL."

Team CEO and co-owner Clark Hunt agrees, recently sharing that he's more than pleased with "the attention that's been focused on the Chiefs" as a result of the Tayvis hype train. The team's "female audience," especially, "has grown leaps and bounds" thanks to what CNBC's Mad Money host Jim Cramer calls an "unplanned phenomenon."

While plenty of people accused the couple of seeing one another as "a marketing stunt," Hunt assured everyone that the craze has been "purely organic," and that the relationship is "very real."

"The most important thing," he said, "is we're happy for the two of them."
