'Chicago PD's Marina Squerciati Is a Total Tourist in Leaning Tower of Pisa Pic
Marina Squerciati is having the time of her life while vacationing in Italy.
The Chicago PD actress has been traveling quite a bit this summer, and, thankfully, she's shared bits and pieces of her adventures with fans on social media.
Her latest post came on July 11 from Pisa, Italy, and you can probably already guess where we're going with this one. In the new snap, only Squerciati's winded profile is visible as she pretends to support the famed Leaning Tower of Pisa with nothing but her bare hands.
"It's official. I'm a nerd!" she joked in the caption of the post shared to her Instagram grid on Tuesday. Squerciati continued to poke fun at herself but adding a few relevant hashtags, including "#dumbtouriststuff," "#havingfunsowhocares," and "#italianvacation."
Fans wasted no time sharing a laugh and hyping the 39-year-old up in the comments, giving props to the camera angle and Squerciati's near-perfect execution of the popular pose.
"Finally someone who has actually mastered the perfect hand placement 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼," one Instagram user joked.
"Photography skills with marina over here," someone else added.
A third quipped, "everyone loves a classic tourist log 🥰."
Squerciati previously shared a photo of herself the day she arrived in the country, or more specifically, Elba Island. It showed her hanging out by an infinity pool in a black one-piece bathing suit and simply enjoying the breathtaking views.
"Just flew in to Italy and boy are my arms tired," she began in the caption of her June 30 upload. "(Napoleon was exiled on this island, in case you were wondering)," she concluded.
Clearly, when she's not busy learning her lines, this actress is nosing around the history section of her local library–and now, she's putting her knowledge to the test as the internet's very own Italian tour guide of sorts.
