'Chicago PD's Marina Squerciati Dons Black Swimsuit in Pool Photo from Italy

Marina Squerciati continues to make the most of her Chicago P.D. hiatus with a bucket list summer.

The star announced that she “just flew into Italy” in her latest Instagram update, but she’s already capitalizing on pool time.

In the photo, tagged in Monte Grosso (Elba), Squerciati stands on the edge of a pool overlooking the bright blue and idyllic Tyrrhenian Sea.

“Just flew into Italy and boy are my arms tired,” she captioned a scenic shot, making a joke about the pair of colorful wing floaties she rocked alongside a chic black swimsuit.

Fans complimented her getup with one stating, “Those are the coolest floaties ever on your shoulders!” as another weighed in, “the wings really make the outfit even better.”

Others welcomed her to the European city with comments like, “Benvenuta” and “Ciao.”

“Ahh the view is amazing!! 😍” one user gushed, as another told it like it is, writing, “you’re always in such pretty places.”

Squerciati—who jumps into action on the NBC Dick Wolf-created crime procedural as Kim Burgess—has been jet-setting around the globe this summer, first kicking off her travels in Israel alongside former Chicago Med co-star Torrey DeVitto.

From there she went to Washington to attend a cousin’s wedding, saw the Jurassic World Live tour with her daughter, and spent some time with family at Suncadia Resorts—where she sipped on coffee in the lush forests and tried her hand at archery in the process.

She then trekked back to Europe, this time sharing photos from a Cubs game in London. It’s unclear if she crossed paths with her co-stars, Tracy Spiridakos—who plays Det. Hailey Upton—and Patrick John Flueger—Scquerciati’s onscreen love interest Adam Ruzek—in London after they delighted fans with photos of their chance run-in.

It’s safe to say that everyone is having a fantastic summer away from the 21st District.
