Patrick Flueger and Marina Squerciati
Burzek fans got a special treat from Marina Squerciati and Patrick J. Flueger, the actors portraying the beloved Chicago PD characters Kim Burgess and Adam Ruzek, respectively.
While we’re still a ways away from seeing the beloved couple appear in new episodes of the crime procedural, we did get a little IRL (in real life) date night from the duo, as evidenced in new photos shared to Squerciati’s Instagram page.
For the evening, Squerciati opted for a silk black camisole with nude wide-leg pants, while Flueger opted for a stylish black blazer with a black shirt underneath and fitted pants.
While the co-stars cozied up together for a special photo, the first shot in the gallery revealed that they were accompanied by several of their castmates spanning the franchise shows—Chicago Med and Chicago Fire.
The group photo featured Med alums Torrey DeVitto (Natalie Manning) and Nick Gehlfuss (Will Halstead), along with Fire’s Joe Minoso (Joe Cruz) and Kara Killmer (Sylvie Brett).
In the caption, Squerciati focused less on the night out with her cast and more on the event for a good cause, writing, “Good Friends + A Good Cause = An Evening at The Blue Paradox. I hope you can visit Chicago and see the exhibit and do a deep dive into the impact of plastic pollution in our oceans.”
She continued: “There are actions (big and small!) that we can make. I'll be honest, sometimes I get overwhelmed by the planet crisis, but this exhibit made me feel inspired; like I could do some good here. Listen, if you go, tag me in your photos. Fans, on the other hand, were delighted to see an update from the One Chicago actors as they await new episodes, which have been halted due to the previous writers’ strike and the ongoing SAG-AFTRA strike, with comments such as “Love seeing everyone together ! 🫶🏻,” “Kim & Adam ❤️,” and “The best family ❤️❤️.”
“I've missed my OneChicago crew! Love to see you all together, especially for such a good cause!” another added.
DeVitto also shared photos from the event on her Instagram page, where fans celebrated the reunion of “Manstead,” who previously drove off into the sunset together in the Chicago Med Season 8 finale.
