‘Chicago PD’ Star Shows Hilarious Way Cast Hides From Camera on Set

Actors dodging the camera in scenes they're not supposed to be in is our new favorite genre of entertainment.
The cast of the hit TV crime drama Chicago P.D. always seems to have a great time on set, and recent filming for a new episode was no different, as Tracy Spiridakos revealed in a hilarious video.
The star, who portrays Detective Hailey Upton in the series, posted an Instagram reel showing how she and fellow cast member Marina Squerciati (Officer Kim Burgess) hide from the cameras when they aren't supposed to be in a scene.
In the video, someone behind the camera (who might be show producer Brian Luce, as Spiridakos tagged him) pans from a desk in the police station set to behind it, where Spiridakos lies on the ground on her side, talking to Squerciati, who squats on a desk chair to be as low as she can.

The same person narrates, "How to get out of the next shot," leading someone nearby to start cracking up laughing as Spiridakos throws him two thumbs up.
Around the cast members, it appears that the production crew is getting ready to film another scene, so the two actresses do their best to remain out of the frame without leaving the set.
Chicago P.D. cast member Randy Flagler commented on the video, "Boy, that’s the truth."
Fans definitely appreciated the behind-the-scenes moment, with someone saying in the comments, "You & Marina are so funny together love you guys 😂😂."
"every scene i watch now ill be looking to see if one of you are just poking out behind a table 😂," said another loyal viewer.
One fan complimented Spiridakos, saying, "she who is queen is queen even on the floor💁🏼♀️."
The cast of Chicago P.D. also seems very close in real life, as Spiridakos even celebrated her birthday with Squerciati, Amy Morton (Sergeant Trudy Platt), and a few other friends. Hopefully, this means that more fun behind-the-scenes clips will inevitably be shared in the future.
