His wife Patti Murin demanded, 'Don’t you dare delete this.'

Colin Donnell flaunted the fruit of his labor in a new social media post that left fans speechless.

The Chicago Med alum took to Instagram to share just how proud he is of himself for sticking with his workout routine, shouting out his hard work and dedication that's led him to "getting into probably the best shape of my life."

On April 19, the 40-year-old actor posted two action-packed photos of himself flexing his toned abs and working out his shoulders on the photo-sharing platform.

Alongside the new photos, Donnell joked that he's "not #becomingwolverineagain, primarily because I’ve never actually played Wolverine," but he is "enjoying putting in some* work and getting into probably the best shape of my life at 40 years old."

By "some" work, the actor actually meant quite a bit of effort, as he later clarified, "And, welp, I’m pretty proud."

Donnell also tagged about a dozen of the fitness-centered Instagram accounts that he said: "have been great follows and helped me along."

"Probably gonna delete this," he concluded, before adding some relevant hashtags to help inspire those outside of his 404K follower count, including "#fitover40," "#kettlebells" and "#dadbod."

While some fans surely appreciated the resources shared by the former Arrow cast member, others were too busy gushing over Donnell to check the links out.

In fact, even wife and Broadway star Patti Murin demanded "Don’t you dare delete this."

Others poked fun at the star, with one user quipping, "Ok Ben Affleck," before fellow actor Joseph Lee Anderson chimed in, "You forgot to tag my account."

Since leaving Chicago Med in 2019, Donnell has kept himself pretty busy, and not just by working out. The actor has since appeared in the Hallmark movies Love on Iceland and To Catch A Spy, as well as the TV shows Arrow and Irreverent.

Just last month, Donnell and Murin welcomed their second child, Lorelai Grace. The couple also shares another daughter, Cecily Philips, who will turn three in July.
