Chicago Mayfest: What to know about the Lincoln Park festival

CHICAGO — Chicago Mayfest returns this weekend to the city’s Lincoln Park neighborhood.

Events kick off at 5 p.m. on Friday May 17 and run through 9 p.m. on Sunday May 19.

The exact hours of operation are:
Friday: 5 p.m. – 10 p.m.
Saturday: Noon – 10 p.m.
Sunday: Noon – 9 p.m.

The festival takes place on Armitage Avenue from Sheffield to Racine.

According to the event website, this will be the 27 year for the festival.

Bands will perform on two stages and local restaurants will offer things to eat. The Armitage Art Show is also part of the weekend fun. There’s also a pet parade on Saturday at noon.

Proceeds benefit the Ranch Triangle Community Conservation Associate.
