Cocktail mixology is basically a bonafide hobby these days. It stands to reason, then, that home bars are becoming even more in vogue as well. Homeowners are reaching for the stars as they create beautiful bar areas with precious stones like terrazzo and veined marble. Some are even taking it further by bringing back the Play houses of the early 1900s era, complete with tennis courts and bowling alleys for entertainment along with refreshments. Speakeasies are also back with many installing them in their basement or through a trick doorway. Naturally, everyone is asking—where do I get chic bar stools?
To make it easy, we scoured the market place and shared some of our favorites, from midcentury modern perches to traditional luxe seats. And don't worry, we made sure to only include those that are the correct height of 30 inches or more (no counter stools here!).
