The Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade is one holiday tradition that really floats our boat!

The cherished celebration is returning for its 97th edition this year with 16 character balloons, 26 floats, 12 marching bands, more than 700 clowns and star-studded performances, including music legend Cher! Of course it wouldn't be the Macy's parade without the Radio City Rockettes and the jolly man in the bright red suit: Santa Claus.

Parade spectators and viewers can also look forward to the return of Ronald McDonald, Chase from Paw Patrol and the Funko Pop!-styled Grogu, in addition to Bluey (who will be joined by her favorite “Keepy Uppy” red balloon), Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Goku from Dragon Ball, the Funko Pop!-styled Grogu, Pikachu & Eevee, Pumpkins, Red Titan from Ryan’s World, Ronald McDonald, Sinclair's Dino and Baby Dino, Smokey Bear, Spongebob Squarepants & Gary, Stuart the Minion and Macy’s reindeer Tiptoe.

There are 2.5 miles of public viewing along the parade route, which begins on the Upper West Side and ends at Macy’s Herald Square. The procession will travel from Central Park West to Columbus Circle, where it will then turn onto Central Park South and march south down 6th Avenue/Avenue of the Americas. The parade will make its final turn, heading west, on 34th Street and will stop in front of Macy’s Herald Square.
