Cher’s Alleged ‘Dream’ Is to Make This Family-Oriented Step With 38-Year-Old BF, Sources Claim

While the internet is still wildly split on Cher and Alexander “AE” Edwards’ relationship, it’s not stopping them from having a loving, committed relationship. They’ve defended their relationship numerous times, and have since been seen packing on the PDA. They seem oh-so happy, and it seems that, according to sources, Cher may eb ready to make a family-oriented step with him.

Sources told InTouch Weekly that Cher is reportedly ready to welcome a baby with Edwards. “She’s telling AE it’s her dream in life to have another baby,” the source said. “She missed the boat on freezing eggs and hiring a surrogate but adoption is something she very much would like to do.”

Now, Cher has two sons: Chaz Bono, born in March 4, 1969, and Elijah Blue Allman, born in July 10, 1976. And Edwards shares a son with Amber Rose named Slash, born in Oct 2019. So, while they’ve both already welcomed children, it seems Cher would want to expand their families with another bundle of joy.

And despite Cher being 77 years old, it seems she isn’t letting her age stop her from being a mom again. “She stays fit and plans to live well into her 90s like her mom. She was so career-focused when they were young,” the source added. She’ll appreciate being a mom this time around.”

The pair were first linked together in Nov 2022, and then Cher quickly confirmed they were together. In Dec 2022, engagement rumors came up and about. While neither confirmed the rumors, they were seen packing on the PDA with their rare red-carpet events appearances. They briefly split up in 2023, but have gotten back together (and have been inseparable since).

Despite getting a lot of backlash over their age difference, share has said time and time again that it doesn’t matter when love is involved. Specifically, she acknowledged this previously in Dec 2022 on The Kelly Clarkson Show, saying, “On paper, it’s kind of ridiculous. But, in real life, we get along great. He’s fabulous and I don’t give men qualities that they don’t deserve.”
