Chelsea Handler Clears Up Boyfriend Rumors After Sharing PDA Pic

Chelsea Handler is still single, despite what her recent social media post may have suggested.
The 48-year-old comedian was forced to clear things up after a photo she shared of herself kissing a man on the cheek was mistaken as her hard-launching a new relationship. But it wasn't just the loved-up photo that had fans–and even some outlets–convinced she just debuted her new beau, but the statement she shared along with the snap.
"This is my baby," she wrote in her now-deleted Instagram Story. "He is full of love and positivity and his body is my wonderland. I love my baby and now I go back to work. Two shows this weekend at the Beacon!!!! There are still tickets for Saturday show."
Shortly after, there were reports that Handler had made her new boyfriend Instagram official–only it wasn't her boyfriend or a relationship reveal, according to new statements shared by the star.
"My vacation is over, and now my publicists are calling me. They just texted me a Google thing of me, saying, 'Chelsea Handler announces new boyfriend on Instagram," she said in a video posted to her Instagram Story on Wednesday, Sept. 27.
"I did not announce a new boyfriend on Instagram," she clarified. "That man is a bartender right next door to my house in Mallorca and that’s why he’s my baby."
Handler went on, "Baby doesn’t mean boyfriend. Baby means he is my baby because he made me so many drinks. I can’t believe I have to clarify things like this so I don't get [texts from my cousins] saying, 'Is this for real? Do you have a new boyfriend?'"
So, there you have it, folks, straight from the source–there is no "mystery man" in Handler's life, at least not yet.
