Chelsea Clinton Gives Birth to Her Third Child, Jasper Clinton Mezvinsky
Chelsea Clinton has publicly announced the birth of her baby boy. "This morning we welcomed our son, Jasper Clinton Mezvinsky," she wrote in a tweet. "We are overflowing with love and gratitude and can’t wait to introduce him to his big sister and brother."
With Jasper's arrival, Clinton now has a family of five: her husband, Marc Mezvinsky, her four-year-old daughter Charlotte, and her three-year-old son Aidan. Previously, she spoke with People about how her family was preparing for a new baby.
"Charlotte is so excited to be a big sister again," Clinton told People. "And I think Aidan is mainly excited because his sister is excited. He just loves and looks up to his big sister so much."
Charlotte must be overjoyed that Jasper is finally here, after being so excited to meet him. "Every day, [Charlotte] talks about the new baby," Clinton added. "She wants to know how the baby is doing and she wants to feel the baby… Aidan, at two and a half, doesn’t initiate that, but as soon Charlotte starts he’s like, ‘Oh, baby! Baby!’ And he’ll do a little dance, which is awesome."
Back when she first announced her third pregnancy, Clinton said that she was excited to see Aidan and Charlotte take care of their newest sibling.
"Marc and I have loved watching Charlotte be such a wonderful big sister and we’re excited to watch Aidan become a big brother!" she tweeted, adding, "We cannot wait to meet our newest addition later this summer."
