Cheez-It Has a New Box That’s Half White Cheddar Crackers and Half Rosé Wine
Almost a year ago to the day, Kellogg’s Cheez-It partnered with House Wine to create the snack-and-drink duo of our dreams. The collaboration resulted in a single box that was half Original Cheez-It crackers and half Original Red Blend Wine. Now the two brands have come back together to unveil the Cheez-It White Cheddar and House Wine Rosé box. Talk about a wine-and-cheese pairing!
The one package has two sides, so you have everything you need in one convenient box. On one side, there are Cheez-It White Cheddar crackers, and on the other, there is House Wine Rosé, complete with a nozzle for easy pouring. These varieties were chosen because the cheesy crackers pair well with the light, crisp flavor of rosé wine. Now you have your snack and boozy drink all in one, so you’re set for many nights of binging Netflix.
“White Cheddar is a long-standing favorite of Cheez-It fans and what better match light, refreshing rosé?” Jeff Delonis, senior director of marketing for Cheez-It, said in a press release. “Not only does it perfectly complement the cheesy goodness, it’s also the unofficial wine of summer.”
The first Cheez-It and House Wine box sold out within minutes last year (for obvious reasons), so you’ll want to set a reminder to guarantee that you’ll get your hands on this one. You’ll be able to order the limited-edition box for $29.99 on OriginalHouseWine.com beginning on July 23 at 2 p.m. ET.
They’ll only be available while supplies last and there is a limit of one per person.
Last year, Kellogg’s shared an infographic of which Cheez-It variety to pair with which House Wine (and yes, White Cheddar and rosé were on the list). The others include Cheddar Jack and cabernet sauvignon, Grooves Zesty Cheddar Ranch and malbec, Extra Toasty and sauvignon blanc, and Duoz Sharp Cheddar/Parmesan and chardonnay. Hopefully, that means it’s only a matter of time until all of these cracker-and-wine duos are paired together in one box!
