Update, January 21, 2021: Cheetos dropped a second teaser for its mysterious Super Bowl LV commercial, and it reveals another star in the storyline: Mila Kunis. It has serious, sinister vibes that point to a Cheetos-related betrayal between the actress and Ashton Kutcher. Oh, and it involves rapper Shaggy.

At the beginning of the teaser, Mila asks: "What exactly are you insinuating?" Presumably, she's speaking to Ashton here. She continues with a tearful speech in response to an accusation until she breaks from character and reveals she was speaking into a mirror the entire time. She then turns to Shaggy, who seems to be helping her practice a lie.

"Just stick to the line I gave you," he says. Mila replies: "Yeah, OK." When she turns back toward the mirror to practice again, Shaggy's hit song "It Wasn't Me" starts to play.

Now, the question is: Did Mila eat her husband's bag of Cheetos Crunch Pop Mix? And if so, will she successfully fool him into believing she didn't? We’ll find out on February 7!

Original post, January 15, 2021: Need something to look forward to? Cheetos dropped a teaser for its Super Bowl LV commercial, and it’ll make you pumped to view the rest of it come February 7.

The teaser features Ashton Kutcher and is extremely ominous. It starts off with Kutcher entering a dark room after telling someone off-screen that he’ll be right down stairs. He then shuts and locks the door. As he sits down at a desk, he opens an envelope to find it filled with black-and-white photos. The photos are hard to make out, but they seem to be of a woman and other figures in a parking garage. He repeats “oh my gosh” as he goes through them until he finds an empty bag of Cheetos Crunch Pop Mix. He pauses and then announces: “I knew it.”

Clearly, the contents of the envelope are evidence. To what crime? We’ll likely find out in a few weeks. Maybe the bag is proof that someone stole and ate Kutcher’s bag of the coveted snack. Who knows?

Cheetos Crunch Pop Mix is a product the brand recently released. It’s “a mischievously cheesy combination of traditional Cheetos Crunchy and the immensely popular Cheetos Popcorn introduced during last year's Super Bowl LIV,” according to a press release. While we wait for some crime-related answers, you can find Cheetos Crunch Pop Mix at retailers nationwide in 7-ounce bags for around $4 and 2.25-ounce bags for around $2. Happy snacking!
