Cheetos Just Released Crunch Pop Mix That Combines Crunchiness With Popcorn
One of Frito-Lay’s most beloved brands, Cheetos, has unleashed a new snack that will take the cheesiness up a notch. Cheetos Crunch Pop Mix will give you two snacks in one, so you’ll never have to settle for one or the other.
The new snack combines traditional Cheetos Crunchy and Cheetos Popcorn, which came out in January 2020 in Cheddar and Flamin’ Hot varieties. In this mix, you can expect the classic cheese-flavored Crunchy pieces and the cheddar-flavored Popcorn. This crunchy snack is so delicious that Chester Cheetah issued a mock advisory warning that you’re likely to sneak from another family member’s stash. It wouldn’t be a bad idea to store yours in a hiding spot in your kitchen.
The new Cheetos Crunch Pop Mix is available in 2.25-ounce bags for $1.89 and 7-ounce bags for $3.99. They’ll be rolling out at retailers nationwide beginning this week, so the chip aisle is calling your name.
“2020 was a year unlike any other in that we saw the incredibly popular introduction of Cheetos Popcorn in January, quickly follow by world-changing events that affected every industry differently,” Rachel Ferdinando, SVP and CMO, Frito-Lay North America, said in a press release. “For our brands, we saw trends like Cheetos recipe searches skyrocketing 190%. So now we’re thinking with that lens through everything we introduce to the world. Hopefully Cheetos Crunch Pop Mix Can provide a small moment of joy and bring a few smiles this year.”
