Fall flavors come and go, but pumpkin will always be king. As the leaves begin to fall and the weather gets a certain crispness to it, we know that the autumnal season is upon us. But another key indicator is the pumpkin spice flavor making its way onto every menu and shelf everywhere; There are lattes, hot chocolate bombs, donuts, and Blizzards.
But we truly know it’s fall when the Cheesecake Factory welcomes back its pumpkin cheesecake and pumpkin pecan cheesecake for the season. And that time has come. The two seasonal favorites are now officially back on the menu.
You may be thinking “What makes these flavors so special when the Cheesecake Factory has literally dozens of cheesecake flavors available?” Well, firstly, they are only available for a limited time. And they are so, so delicious. Allow me to explain.
In case you forgot, the pumpkin cheesecake has a graham cracker crust, creamy pumpkin filling with whipped cream. The pumpkin pecan cheesecake takes that up a notch with a layer of pecan pie underneath the cheesecake all wrapped in a pastry crust and topped with caramel, pecans, and whipped cream.
Both of these cheesecakes are currently available at Cheesecake Factory restaurants nationwide, but just like the autumn leaves, they won’t be around forever (They will likely disappear once Thanksgiving rolls around, probably replaced with the peppermint bark cheesecake). I recommend opting for the whole cake over the slice because you will definitely be craving more after having just one piece.
