The Cheesecake Factory Is Offering $15 Bonus Cards for Every $50 Spent On Gift Cards

A lot of restaurants both big and small are pretty desperate these days to attract business. There are a lot of different ways to reel in skeptical customers, but it’s safe to say that offering the chance to both eat cheesecake and acquire free money that can be used to eat even more cheesecake is probably one of the better schemes.

I mention that because The Cheesecake Factory announced a new promotion that does almost exactly that. Essentially, all you have to do is buy a $50 Cheesecake Factory gift card before September 8, and you’ll get a free $15 Bonus card. Really, that’s it.

Based on the wording of the offer in a Cheesecake Factory press release, it sounds like the Bonus Card offer isn’t limited to one per customer, either, as every $50 gift card purchased online yields a $15 bonus card. So if you really wanted to stock up on $50 Cheesecake Factory gift cards that are actually $65 Cheesecake Factory gift cards, go for it. Think of it as an investment in cheesecake futures.

With restaurants still not operating as normal (a state of affairs likely to persist for some time), you obviously might not want to rush out and use those cards right away. The good news is that neither the gift cards nor the Bonus Cards don’t have an expiration date, meaning you can use them at any point in time between now and whenever the sun explodes or The Cheesecake Factory goes out of business (slightly more likely to happen first).

So if you’ve ever wanted a way to essentially invest in Cheesecake, this is it. While their 7 for $20 deal may not be around anymore, you can bet there’s something on the menu (cheesecake or otherwise) that’ll suit your fancy. And though it hasn’t been scientifically proven yet, it wouldn’t surprise me to find out that whatever you order with that $15 bonus card automatically tastes better.
