I guess I'm going to need a Vespa next.
I'll admit that when it comes to my personal style, there's not much Italian influence to be found; honestly, it's more like, "American girl's idea of an English girl's idea of an Italian woman." (So, basically, just thinking about what Alexa Chung would wear.)
That's precisely the vibe of these Fellini loafers from Tamara Mellon. In a cheeky leopard print, they feel like something a Londoner might wear on vacation in Rome. More than that, though, I love the sheer versatility of the style. Worn with knee high socks and a miniskirt, they have a rebellious school uniform feel; with a pair of loose jeans and a tee, they go rock 'n' roll. And the best part is that they have the perfectly practical heel height that I love in a shoe.
Now I just need a Vespa and a pile of spaghetti, and I'm all set. Ciao, bella!
