If you’re heading into a weekend filled with holiday shopping, you’re guaranteed to work up an appetite. But spending more money on top of your holiday shopping may not be at the top of your to-do list. Luckily, Checkers and Rally’s offer free French fries all weekend.

How to Get Free French Fries at Checkers and  Rally’s

From Friday, Nov. 24, through Sunday, Nov. 26, Checkers and Rally’s will offer an order of free French fries (in the largest XL size!) with any purchase. You need to join the restaurant chain’s membership program to cash in on the deal. You can download the mobile app or sign up online. Once you’re in the program, you can view and redeem rewards in the MY REWARDS section of the app.

In a press release from the chain, Executive Chef Ryan Joy said, "Black Friday is synonymous with finding the best deal and, given it also falls on a literal Friday, it's only natural that Checkers and Rally's wants to be a part of the biggest 'FryDay' of the season and reward our loyal fans, satisfying their every taste bud with our perfectly seasoned fries."

Are Checkers and Rally’s the Same Restaurant?

Originally operated as separate businesses, Checkers and Rally’s merged in the late ‘90s. Now operating under Checkers Drive-in Restaurants, Inc., both names remain in use. But if you’re familiar with one but not the other, don't worry. The menus and deals are all the same.

December Deals at Checkers and Rally’s

December begins with a flurry of deals at the drive-in restaurants. From Dec. 4-30, rewards members have even more discounts available.

Throughout that time, customers can get a free order of Funnel Cake Fries with any purchase, a free large French fry order with the purchase of a Baconzilla burger (which just so happens to be one Allrecipes writer’s favorite fast-food bacon cheeseburger), and finally a BOGO deal on a three-piece order of Fry-Seasoned Chicken Tenders.
