The Palisades Tahoe Resort, formerly known as Squaw Valley Alpine Meadows, is a renowned ski destination located in the Sierra Nevada Mountains of California, USA. Its history dates back to the 1940s when Wayne Poulsen, an avid skier, and his wife, Sandy, opened a small ski resort in Squaw Valley. In 1960, Squaw Valley gained international recognition as the site of the Winter Olympics.

Over the decades, the resort expanded, merging with neighboring Alpine Meadows in 2011 to create one of North America's largest ski areas. In 2021, the resort rebranded as Palisades Tahoe Resort. It offers world-class skiing, snowboarding, and outdoor activities, attracting visitors from around the world to its stunning alpine setting.
