If you're ever seen an episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians or followed the family on Instagram, you may have a sense of their interior design taste. They like stark white interiors and extravagant closets, ocean views and pools in cool shapes. With all this familiarity, it's still possible to be blown away by a glimpse of one of their homes, as was the case with a recent post from Kourtney.

The eldest Kardashian shared a handful of pics of her palatial estate on Instagram this week, and you're permitted to go gaga over the ivy-covered walls and stunning hallway leading to a room of black and white photos. The interiors are cool-and again, in that very Kardashian black-and-white color scheme-but what's truly impressive are the exteriors, from the pool landscaping to the incredible views from the backyard.

"Congratulations @landrydesigngroup on your new book Modern to Classic II!" Kourtney captioned the pic. "Thank you for designing and featuring my home."

The Landry Design Group is a firm in Los Angeles founded by architect Robert Landry over 30 years ago. His team now comprises 45 staffers, who have completed design projects all around the world. While you can often glimpse European influences in his exteriors, the Quebec-born designer is clearly comfortable with more contemporary designs, as glimpsed with Kourtney's home.

Their book, Modern to Classic II, is a coffee table book that examines several of their past and current projects, and includes work for celebrities and entrepreneurs; in addition to Kourtney, her sister Khloe's home is featured, as is the estate of Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen.

The firm shared some other images of the book, including the Brady/Bundchen home, above, and this incredible indoor-outdoor pool set-up. Think of the parties you could throw!

We also love this pool house for its innovative use of outdoor space-there are so many spots to gather, dine, chat-as well as the dramatic wrap-around stairwell.
