Cory Lee and Yannick Bisson star as a cookbook author and local baker who butt heads over a secret gingerbread recipe.
What makes a recipe great? Is it a certain ingredient? Or how it's prepared? Or maybe it's the love that goes into making it? In Baking All the Way, a new original movie in Lifetime's It's a Wonderful Lifetime Christmas movie event, a big city chef heads to a small town in search of a gingerbread recipe she and her mother used to make during the holidays.
Yannick Bisson, who directed and stars in Baking All the Way, spoke of his latest project enthusiastically, “What a treat to be able to turn the holiday movie genre on its head a little bit! I was able to call in some big-time actors as guests and having Cory Lee step in as our leading lady was a hit. I loved every minute of directing this little gem. Everyone on the cast and crew came to play…even my youngest daughter Mikaela came out.”

What is Baking All the Way about?
Julia Wilson (Cory Lee), an accomplished pastry chef from Chicago, heads to a small town bakery famous for their gingerbread to complete her Christmas cookbook. There she finds herself at odds with Kris Thompson (Yannick Bisson), the bakery’s charming but private owner, who is ambivalent about sharing his secret recipe.

Cory Lee has previously starred in several Christmas movies including A Christmas Masquerade and My Grown-Up Christmas List. She also had a recurring role on the Matchmaker Mysteries series on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries.

Yannick Bisson (Kris)
Yannick Bisson is best recognized for Murdoch Mysteries where he plays the show's titular character, Detective William Murdoch. The show is currently in its 16th season! He previously starred in the Aurora Teagarden Mysteries on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries as Martin Bartell, the main love interest for Aurora (Candace Cameron Bure), but he left the series due to other filming commitments.
