Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez have a new place in Los Angeles to call home. Lopez just bought a house in Encino for about $1.4 million, Variety reports.
Built in 1948, the 2,202-square-foot, one-story home features three bedrooms and two-and-a-half bathrooms. While its exterior appears modest, the home has been renovated to include plenty of modern amenities. The front door opens to an open floor layout of the spacious dining and living areas. The black-framed windows and black-paneled ceilings contrast with white walls and light hardwood floors. Across the kitchen—which has gray cabinetry, white marble countertops, and an island with stools—is a living room complete with a fireplace.
The main bedroom features a half-vaulted wood ceiling and two large closets. Its ensuite bathroom has a walk-in shower with sleek tiles, a gorgeous floating tub, and a double sink vanity. Between the detached garage and the home, glass doors in the living room lead to a covered patio with outdoor seating that's perfect for outdoor entertainment. Off the garage, there's also a cozy office. The gated home has solar panels and security cameras throughout the property.
Lopez and Rodriguez have an extensive real estate portfolio between them. According to Variety, the power couple has an oceanfront home in Malibu, a $28 million home in Bel Air, a Hamptons estate, and a penthouse in Manhattan. Plus, Rodriguez owns a Coral Gables mansion in Miami.
