Chase Stokes and Madelyn Cline Were Reportedly "Close and Cozy" at A People’s Choice Awards After Party

Madelyn Cline and Chase Stokes have fans begging the "will they or won't they" question after the former couple was spotted hanging out in Atlanta after Thanksgiving. Most recently, they were seen together at an after-party for the 2021 People's Choice Awards on December 7. Per E! News, Chase and Maddie attended a "soirée" on the rooftop of the Santa Monica Proper Hotel in California with the rest of the Outer Banks cast.

The stars of the Netflix hit were commemorating their People's Choice Awards nominations for Drama Show of 2021 and Bingeworthy Show of 2021. Chase was also up for Male TV Star and Drama TV Star of 2021, and ended up winning the award for the latter category. There was more reason to celebrate as Netflix announced that OBX 3 is officially happening.

A source told E! News that Chase and Maddie were having an "intimate" conversation during the party before they ran off to take selfies with their co-stars, Madison Bailey, Jonathan Daviss, and Carlacia Grant.

"Maddie's body was totally turned into Chase and he listened intently, and she spoke and animatedly waved her arms," the source said. "They were looking very close and cozy."

This marks the first time Chase and Maddie have been publicly seen together since a fan spotted them in Atlanta during Thanksgiving weekend.

"Just ran into my favorite OBX couple … John B and Sarah (Maddie and Chase) Thanks for makin my night! So cool!" the fan, Leonard Coleman, wrote in the caption for his Instagram post with the duo. Chase and Madelyn reportedly split in November and neither has commented on whether they're back together or not.
