Charter Arts Tour to present concert on Sunday [Religion Digest]
May 11----The Annie M. Gual Concert Series presents Charter Arts Tour on Sunday at 3 p.m. at St. John's (Hain's) United Church of Christ, 591 N. Church Road, Lower Heidelberg Township. The concert is free.
—Hill Church, 620 Hill Church Road, Pike Township, will hold its annual ham supper next Saturday from 3-7 p.m. in the Hill Church Picnic Grove Dining Hall. Cost is $14 for adults and $7.50 for children ages 3-10. Eat in or take out (take out orders $1 extra). Tickets will be sold until 7 p.m.
—Calvary United Church of Christ, 1231 Route 100, Washington Township, will feature Threefold Blessing as the guest vocalists during the 9:30 a.m. worship service on Sunday. All women will receive a Mother's Day flower.
—Christ Lutheran Church, 222 Niantic Road, Douglass Township, Montgomery County, will observe Church Music Sunday with special music by the handbell choir during the 9 a.m. worship service. Coffee and conversation will be held at 8:30 and 10 a.m. in the Welcome Center.
—St. John's Gernant's Church (A Federated Congregation), 13 Gernant's Church Road, Ontelanuee Township, will have a special Mother's Day service on Sunday at 9:30 a.m. There will be no fellowship following the service. Bible study will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. in the Memorial Hall.
—St. John's Lutheran Church, 4125 Penn Ave., Sinking Spring, will provide a free meal on Thursday from 5:30-7:30 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall.
—St. John's Lutheran Church, 45 N. Reading Ave., Boyertown, will hold a free drive-through take-out meal today from 4:30-5:30 p.m. No registration necessary.
—The Men's Fellowship Group of United Church of Christ of Robesonia, 301 W. Penn Ave., will meet today at 8:30 a.m. at Heidelberg Restaurant, 910 W. Penn Ave., Robesonia. —In celebration of Mother's Day, fellowship will be held in Weidner Hall at Friedens United Church of Christ, 337 Main St., on Sunday from 9-10 a.m. where pastries and coffee will be served prior to the 10:15 service. Teri Hoffman will be the guest musician, and the choir will sing a special anthem. All mothers will receive a carnation.
—The Rev. Steven Shusset will be the guest worship leader at Salem Lutheran Church, 8410 Lancaster Ave., Bethel Township, for the 9:30 a.m. service on Sunday.
—Lincoln Park Community United Methodist Church , 1 Carlisle Ave., Cumru Township, will be holding its annual indoor/outdoor flea market next Saturday from 7 a.m.-2 p.m., with books, housewares, bedding, holiday decor, accessory boutique, sporting goods, vintage items, toys and games.
