The marriage of Charlotte Swan Dowell and Connor Michael Lewis, both of Palm Beach Gardens, took place Feb. 17, 2024, in Palm Beach.

The Rev. Susan R. Beebe officiated at the ceremony at The Episcopal Church of Bethesda-by-the-Sea.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. Anthony Dowell III of Palm Beach.

She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Enrico Caruso and of the late Mr. and Mrs. W. Anthony Dowell Jr., all of Palm Beach.

The bridegroom is the son of Mary Lewis Moews of Lake Clarke Shores and of the late Mr. Kevin Cletus “KC” Lewis.

He is the grandson of Zeke Grammig of Indialantic and of the late Sen. and Mrs. Philip D. Lewis of West Palm Beach.

The bride's gown, of candlelight silk tulle with a sparkling embossed leaf pattern across the bodice, skirt, and train, was designed by Galia Lahav. She wore it with a cathedral-length veil ― also designed by Galia Lahav ― of candlelight silk tulle and carried a bouquet of white roses and peonies, adorned with an antique sapphire brooch that belonged to her grandmother.

The bride was attended by Tegan Crawford of West Palm Beach and Julia Talasko of New York as maids of honor.

Bridesmaids were Ellie Jamison of Palm Beach; Kallie Atterbury and Emily Reed, both of West Palm Beach; Kaitlin Hartigan and Nichole Cohen, both of New York; Genevieve Dick and Gigi Dick, both of San Francisco; Lauren Rothenberg of St. Louis; Harper Robinson of Baltimore; Carly Kilgore of London; and the bridegroom's sisters, Haley Lewis of Atlanta and Hannah Lewis of Washington, D.C.

The bride's attendants wore dresses in various shades and patterns of green.

Stanley Alan Tucker III of Lake Clarke Shores was best man.

Groomsmen were Philip Lewis of North Palm Beach, the bridegroom’s cousin; Michael Tucker, Larry Ferazzoli and Andrew O'Connell, all of Lake Clarke Shores; Tyler E. Day, Steven Skaletsky and John Michael Calabria, all of Palm Beach Gardens; and Ryan Holody of Austin, Danny Davis of Tampa, Mitchell Crawford of Denver, Jack Thomas of Clayton, Ga., and Erick Alonso of Jupiter.

The bride graduated from St. Andrew’s School in Boca Raton and from the University of Richmond, where she earned dual bachelor of arts degrees in Spanish and journalism.

She is a wealth management associate at Bernstein Private Wealth Management (AllianceBernstein) in West Palm Beach.

The bridegroom graduated from Cardinal Newman High School and from The University of the South in Sewanee, Tenn., with a bachelor of arts degree in history.

He is an insurance broker at U.S. Risk in West Palm Beach.

After a reception at the Everglades Club, the couple left on a “mini-moon” in the Florida Keys.

They will take a wedding trip to Jackson Hole, Wyo., and Big Sky, Mont., in August 2024.

They are living in Palm Beach Gardens.
