Charli Howard Just Launched A Beauty Brand And It's So Good

Model and body positivity activist, Charli Howard, is moving into the beauty space and we are elated. Launching today, Squish Beauty is the product of Howard's experiences with overly sensitive and irritated skin while on the go and on set. The brand is founded on the principles of diversity and celebrating who you are. It's evident in Squish's first campaign that includes an all-star line up of models that are aspirational and relatable (Carmen Fozzard, Aaron Philip, Sophia Hadjipanteli, Charli Howard herself, and many more).

"From day one, I wanted to use role models with real skin in my brand images - girls with acne, girls with scars, girls with cellulite - but who have voices and great personalities. All bodies are un-retouched, raw and real." says Howard.

And as for the products don't be distracted by how aesthetically pleasing they look, they're also effective and easy to add to your daily regime. Squish is launching with three hero products: Cherry eye and cheek masks, flower power acne patches, and jelly lip gloss. We're a sucker for good under-eye masks and this one does just the trick, the mask does a double duty by cooling and de-puffing both your eyes and cheeks. Howard suggests throwing a few in the fridge for optimal effect. The masks also have 2-3 uses in them if you're gentle with application.

The flower power acne patches pack a powerful punch. They're not just here to cover-up a break out, they are designed to be worn on your whiteheads overnight. The patches contain hydrocolloid, which helps to gently absorbs the fluid which creates a germ-free environment for the blemish to come to a head. And lastly, Squish's squishy tube of jelly lip gloss. It's hydrating, nourishing, and transparent. Throw it over your lipstick for a slick look or on bare lips for that extra pop.

Squish's mission is simple: beauty products that are cute and effective are not mutually exclusive. Needless to say, sign us up! We want to be a Squish girl.
