Charli and Dixie D’Amelio Emotionally Discuss Hate From Online Trolls in New Clips

Charli and Dixie D'amelio are two of TikTok's biggest stars, but the criticism that comes with such notoriety has largely impacted the superstar siblings. Recent clips from their Hulu reality show The D'Amelio Show finds the sisters in emotional conversations about the toll hate from online trolls has taken on them.

Dixie explained how much constant criticism about her appearance "hurt." The 20-year-old said, "Everyone picks apart every single thing I say and do and the way I look," in a clip shared by fan account @charliculturee. With over 54.8 million TikTok followers, Dixie continued, "I know it's just people's opinions, but it hurts so much."

At only 17, Charli is the most followed TikTok account with 123.5 million followers. She revealed that while she's grateful for the opportunity social media has provided, she struggles with constantly being misunderstood. "I'm very thankful for everything that I have, but I have to deal with the fact that people don't like who I am," before breaking down into tears. "I feel like it gets more difficult like every day," she cried.
