  • Charli D'Amelio is the first TikToker to reach 100 million followers on the platform.

  • This is right after Charli lost about one million followers because of backlash calling her and her sister "ungrateful."

Congratulations are in order for the Queen of TikTok, Charli D'Amelio. She's the first and only TikTok star to reach 100 million followers on the platform. When she reached the milestone over the weekend on Sunday, she tweeted, "IS THIS REAL LIFE RIGHT NOW. 100 MILLION PEOPLE SUPPORTING ME!! I TRULY CANNOT BELIEVE THAT THIS IS REAL."

Of course, it was only fitting for Charli to post a thank you message to her followers on the platform that started it all. On TikTok, she posted saying, "Thank you guys so so so much, I cannot believe that there is 100 million supporters following me right now. That is insane, oh my goodness." She went on to say, "I feel like this is a dream, kind of waiting to wake up."

This news comes soon after backlash she and her sister, Dixie, received for a video on their family's YouTube channel. The two were called "ungrateful" when it appeared they didn't like a meal prepared for the family. James Charles was a guest in the video and defended them tweeting, "death threats because she's a picky eater & made a joke about a milestone? 30+ year olds dragging someone half their age? feels familiar 😐"

Because of the drama, Charli lost one million followers, but it looks like that doesn't matter now. Congrats, Charli!
