Charli D’Amelio Speaks Out and Says She Still Loves Chase Hudson Following Drama

• Charli is now speaking out about the situation, apologizing for the way it was handled and saying she still has love for Chase.

Charli D'Amelio is finally speaking out about the drama that went down among the TikTok community on Monday. The 16-year-old took to Instagram Live to explain her thoughts on the situation and to apologize for her response to it.

"The drama that has happened in the last few days was handled completely immaturely, myself included," she began. "It should not have happened online and it breaks my heart to see the people that I love get hate."

She continued, apologizing for the things she said on Twitter. "I was extremely hurt and I felt betrayed so I did what I had to do to make myself feel better," she explained. "But I know that was not the right thing to do and I will make sure that does not happen again."

Charli went on to admit that her "Twitter fingers" got the best of her. She then pleaded with fans to stop sending hate to Chase Hudson and the other people involved in the drama.

"I never come on here and show my true emotions, it's just you guys need to know it's never OK to tell anyone to kill themselves, it's never OK to just blatantly make fun of people for them making a mistake," she said.

She then went on to apologize to Nessa Barrett. "Nessa, I'm sorry that you're getting hate," Charli said. "You seem like a very sweet girl."

Charli also apologized to her ex. "Chase, I'm very sorry that you're getting hate. You do not deserve to be told the awful things that people are telling you to do."

She said that Chase will always "hold a very special place" in her heart. "I still love Chase from the bottom of my heart, no matter what has happened," she said, holding back tears.

"I feel that it's really important for you guys to know that you should never hate on anyone for their mistakes because everyone makes mistakes, the difference is, we are handling normal high school drama in front of millions of people," she said."

Charli ended her message by saying that her and Chase had a long talk after everything went down. "We both realized that we were just not right for each other," she admitted.
