OMG! Charli D'Amelio Finally Talked About Dating Landon Barker, Says "He's Very Sweet"

Charli D'Amelio and Landon Barker (aka Travis Barker's son) may be summer's newest couple, but we're already over here shipping them and watching their every move like it's our job.
The pair — who have hung out in the same friend group before (Landon is close to Charli's ex, Lil Huddy) — have been seen getting closer in recent weeks. And while they've yet to officially confirm that they're an item, People reported on June 27 that the 18-year-olds have been "spending time together" with a source saying, "They're seeing each other, and it's early stages."
Uhm — can you repeat that?! Yah, we can!
A source from US Weekly further commented on the budding romance, saying, "It’s very low-key. They’re having fun hanging out and getting to know each other."
And while we are dying to see what fun these two have gotten up to with an adorable dance TikTok or cuddled-up selfie, the duo has been pretty private so far, keeping out of the public eye almost completely. Even so, some have found connections between Charli and Landon. A few eagle-eyed fans on the 'gram (ty, @tiktokroomtm) pointed out that the two were tatted by the same artist on the same day, and that Charli's ex has unfollowed the twosome. July 20, 2022: Charli shares what she likes about Landon
Charli and Landon both attended The Players Party co-hosted by Michael Rubin, MLBPA, and Fanatics during MLB All-Star Week (although the pair did not walk the red carpet together), and Charli briefly talked to ET about what she likes most about Landon.
"He's just very sweet. I think for a long time it was really difficult but now I kind of live life first and think about what people are going to say after," Charli shared. This is the first time the TikTok star has made a public comment about Travis Barker's son.
A source told ET back in June that "Landon and Charli are dating and enjoying each other's company. Things are new between them, but they have a lot in common and are having a good time together." Awww! We love that for you, Charli.
July 16, 2022: Charli and Landon are Instagram official (!!)
Although Charli and Landon have yet to comment publicly about their relationship status, we can probably take the TikTok queen's latest Instagram Story as a major hint. On Saturday, July 16, Charli shared a photo of the two with their faces pressed together, sharing a kiss. Aw. 😍
Landon also posted some content of him and Charli together over the weekend, taking to TikTok to upload a video of the two lip-syncing to a version of The Neighbourhood's 2013 single, "Sweater Weather." The comment section was full of love for the newly debuted couple, with many mentioning how cute they are together, and others labeling them the new "power couple."
July 5, 2022: Charli and Landon attend a Fourth of July party together
Cue all of the necessary squealing, because Charli just posted super cute pics of her and Landon's July 4th weekend. In a photoset taken during Fanatics CEO Michael Rubin's Independence Day party, Charli is seen posing with pals, as well as sister Dixie D'Amelio and her boyfriend Noah Beck. And ofc, Landon and Charli are seen side by side in multiple pics.
June 29, 2022: The two are photographed holding hands in NYC
Ummmm, things appear to be escalating rather quickly! Just days after a source told People that Landon and Charli are reportedly a new item, the two were photographed holding hands in New York City. Omg omg omg.
According to the Daily Mail, Charli and Landon were leaving Machine Gun Kelly's afterparty at Catch in Lower Manhattan. Hours before, the Prince of Pop Punk joined MGK onstage at Madison Square Garden, where the two artists performed their song, "die in california." Charli wore a black leather jacket over a white two-piece set, while Landon rocked a black hoodie and black leather pants. See the pics here.
The sighting of Charli and Landon also occurred on the same night that Landon's dad, Travis Barker, was hospitalized for pancreatitis. According to E! News, a source close to the family said that Travis is expected to "be OK and is doing better."
