Last month, Charli D'Amelio took to Instagram Live to respond to the onslaught of people who continually tell her that she "looked better a year ago." Now, on the most recent episode of her podcast with Dixie D'Amelio, 2 Chix, the sisters are once again discussing the criticism that Charli gets online.

"I saw this video of you from the first week of quarantine, and you look so different," Dixie told her little sis at the end of last week's episode, "The Secret is Out." "Not in a bad way, you look good now. You had eye lashes and you were really tan."

Charli then explained that, "everyone says" she "used to look prettier," and she isn't sure what to do about it. She explained that while she didn't like the way she used to look, she isn't happy with how she looks now, most likely because of all the mean comments. "Now I wanna look how I did then," she said. "So what do you want me to do? Just be sad?"

The girls then tried to figure out why people think Charli looks so different these days. "I think it's because your hair changed," Dixie guessed. "I don't know how a four-inch haircut changed you so much."

Charli, though, thinks it has to do with more than just her looks. "Because it gave me confidence, and they liked when I was fragile," she said, speaking of the haters. "It's true. They are scared by a confident woman."

The conversation comes a few weeks after Charli went on Instagram Live to discuss the same topic.

"I guess it's because I dye my hair," she said at the time. "That's really the only thing that has changed about me except for the fact that I'm a lot more confident, which took me awhile. So, I'm not going to just let people say that about me. I stayed quiet about a lot of things and, honestly, it's extremely frustrating being a teenager and just having to let millions and millions of people get to talk about the way I look."

Luckily, it seems like Charli isn't letting the comments get to her anymore. And hopefully, she can enjoy her new, confident self and block out all of the trolls.
